Psychiatrist Paul Nitsche became one of the key figures behind the secret T4 euthanasia program, where doctors selected tens of thousands of patients for death under the guise of “treatment.” Using deception, starvation, and lethal drugs, the system turned hospitals and institutions into killing centers.
Driven by racial hygiene theories and a belief in “life unworthy of life,” Nitsche helped design methods that concealed murder as medical care.
After the war, he was held accountable for his role in these crimes.
