The 369th (Croatian) Infantry Division, known as the Devil's Division, was one of Nazi Germany's most infamous collaborationist military formations. Created after the destruction of the Croatian Legion at Stalingrad, the division was composed of Croatian volunteers under German Wehrmacht command and deployed not against the Soviet Union, but against Partisan resistance in occupied Yugoslavia.
Instead of achieving military success, the division became notorious for brutal anti-partisan operations, systematic reprisals, village burnings, mass executions, and the murder of thousands of civilians, including women and children.
