During the Nazi occupation of France, Chanel entered a relationship with German intelligence officer Hans Günther von Dincklage, attempted to use anti-Jewish laws to seize control of Parfums Chanel, and worked with German intelligence under the codename "Westminster." She also became involved in Operation Modellhut, a failed attempt to use her friendship with Winston Churchill to open secret negotiations between Britain and Nazi Germany.
After the liberation of Paris, Chanel was questioned but never prosecuted. This documentary explores her remarkable rise, her collaboration with Nazi Germany, and the legacy that continues to divide historians.
