High Ranking Fascist Collaborators [Military]
From Soviet Glory to Nazi Shame: The Fall of General Fyodor Truhin
11m
Fyodor Truhin rose to the rank of major general in the Red Army, but WWII changed his fate. Captured by the Germans in 1941, he defected, training Nazi collaborators and leading forces against the Soviets. As Chief of Staff of the KONR (the Committee for the Liberation of the Peoples of Russia), he worked closely with General Andrey Vlasov, the defected Soviet Red Army General. In 1946, the Soviets caught him, and his execution was slow and merciless—punishment for his betrayal.
